Research activities related to the preparation and analysis of environmental, food and clinical samples are developed, mainly focused on the determination of metal ions, pesticides by means of analytical techniques (Chromatography, Atomic absorption) and electrochemistry. In addition, projects involving the treatment of liquid effluents by advanced oxidative processes are developed, as well as monitoring of air quality, synthesis of inorganic complexes and the development and application of new materials.
